Character
Name: Lea
Canon: Kingdom Hearts
Canon point: Partway through his training in Kingdom Hearts III
Age: 25
Canon history:N/A
History: Lea on the Kingdom Hearts wiki and also Axel on the Kingdom Hearts wiki, because both are relevant.
Personality:
Sarcastic/Snarky
Anyone who spends any amount of time with Lea (or had spent time with his Nobody, Axel) will know that this is his favorite kind of humor. The relative levels of acidity vs good-naturedness of his snarking tend to vary by the situation, but what's not always obvious are the emotions behind it. Having spent his formative years as a Nobody, Lea is often not certain how to deal with his emotions, and finds snarking a good go to method. Embarrassed? A self-deprecating one liner smooths things over. Scared? Add a bit of snarky bravado to cover it up and distract yourself. Angry? Aim sarcastic verbal barbs at your opponent instead of (or along with) more direct attacks.
He can be serious when he wants or needs to be, and will generally utilize sarcasm and snark less as he becomes more comfortable around someone. But until he reaches that comfort level, snark is a useful emotional defense mechanism.
Guilt
Lea feels very guilty not just for his past evil actions as Axel, but due to his own perceived ineffectiveness in the present. He wants very badly to be able to help his friends, to be a strong, reliable protector, but sees himself as failing at this again and again. Even those times he can't actively remember, he still feels deeply. This can lead him to try to overcompensate in one way or another, or otherwise make foolish decisions if he perceives his friends as being in jeopardy. This is made worse by his tendency to be...
Hot-headed
As the journal name and his hairdo imply, Lea is a bit of a hot head. This doesn't necessarily manifest as anger, but he's prone to making rash or impulsive decisions if left to his own devices. He generally needs a more level-headed person around to keep this tendency from getting him into too much trouble. He's not stupid,- far from it, in fact- but a number of of his moves can seem very foolish, and if someone could get him to actually stop and think about them a bit, he'd likely agree.
Kind
Underneath all the snark and fire, Lea's got a kind and caring heart. Parts of it came through as Axel, but now that he's fully himself again, it's a much stronger aspect of his personality. In fact, much of that snark and fire is meant to disguise his soft, marshmallow center and sweet, dorky side. He views that part of himself as being childish, and thus tries to act tough and cool to seem more adult, but more often than not, his sweet side finds a way to show itself despite his best efforts.
Protective
Lea has a tendency to- as his friend Isa once put it- 'pick up stray puppies'. That is, he's somewhat drawn to people who look like they need a helping hand, a friend, or just cheering up and tries to help them out. And with people he's already close to, he almost inevitably tries to take on a protective role, either physically, emotionally, or both.
Occasionally he can go a bit too far in this regard, and end up stepping on toes when his desire to protect his friends and his feelings as to what's best for them don't really line up with their wishes or become too restrictive. If said friend is willing to hold their ground and explain their point of view, however, Lea will usually back off. He nearly always means well; he just sometimes needs to be told to back off a bit.
Always Keep In Mind: As stated above, Lea spent his formative years as a Nobody, and like the rest of the first Organization was fooled into believing that he had no heart. Thus, the years most people spend figuring themselves out, Lea remained largely emotionally stunted. As a result, he really has no clue about how to function as a responsible adult, hard as he may try to fake it. In particular, he's almost totally clueless about romance and is unlikely to recognize flirting or other romantic advances without help and will be extremely flustered if they're pointed out to him. Basically, think a dorky teenager in a man's body.

Questions:
What do you want to study at Diatu Magicademy?
Nothing. I don't even want to go there, but apparently I have no choice in the matter if I don't want to die horribly of magic overload. Which, by the way, is not something that my magic or any normal magic is supposed to cause, so thanks so much for that fun little addition. Just what I wanted to go along with being unceremoniously dragged across time and space by the seat of my metaphorical pants.
What I do want, in order of likelihood of it happening, is to not explode, to get back the powers I'm actually supposed to have, and to go home. Anything that doesn't contribute to those things, assume I don't care about it.
If you knew you could go back to the moment you left, would you leave immediately or continue your studies for a while?
In case you missed the incredibly subtle indications in my previous answer, the moment I had the chance to go home, I'd do it in a hot second.
If your enemy was at Diatu Magicademy, how would you react?
Well, given that my enemies are monsters made of pure darkness who like to rip people's hearts out or crazy old guys bent on starting potentially world-ending wars, I think my first reaction would be to explain to all of you exactly how screwed you were, since you wouldn't be able to stop either of them without Keyblades, and those don't seem to exist around here.
When is it acceptable to resolve a dispute by force?
When someone calls you a big, stupid, doo-doo head. Or, you know, whenever it's necessary.
What should the supreme goal of any wizard be?
To not have to answer stupid questionnaires like this.
Special Considerations
Your Special Something: Item of Power
Rank Your House Choice: In order: Ka, Valhudor, Aer et Calculum
Powers:
Fire-based magic in the Kingdom Hearts/Final Fantasy style, with a few unique moves since that's his specialty
Immunity to damage by fire-based magic
Summoning his Keyblade
Summoning his Chakrams, the Eternal Flames - Aside from being summonable/dismissable at will, given the physics-defying feats he pulls off with them, it's safe to assume they respond at least partially to his will, as well as his hands. They also seem to be very resistant to heat, because yeah, fire magic
Items:
His Keyblade and Chakrams, as mentioned above
Sea Salt ice cream
Anything Else: I have read some of the Kingdom Hearts manga and light novels, but will only be using the video games as canon source material to draw from.
